This is something I saw them do last year, and I tried out myself. I think it’s an interesting look, but there are definitely some caveats:
1) The easiest to pull off is the button-up over a long sleeve shirt. I don’t think I’d go as far as do that over a sweater, but throwing a flannel or OCBD over a henley is a straight-forward casual look, particularly with jeans.
